Bakersfield is the ghost capital of Kern County! No matter where you go you're bound to walk right through one of those haunting spirits. The mobile notaries have learned to except or avoid the following places which have been known to have paranormal activity: The Bakersfield newspaper building, Bakersfield Central Park, Bakersfield high school, Club paradise, East Bakersfield high school, Gaslight Melodrama theater and music hall, Garces Circle, K Street, Kern County kids shelter, Kern County Realty group, The padre hotel, and Pioneer Village.

Tread lightly with caution because... These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these boots are going to walk all over you! So if you need your shoes repaired then OK go to Chester Avenue and you'll see the Big Shoe Repair. A building that looks just like a shoe that might stump on you! And, if you don't need your shoe repair stop by anyway and take a selfie.

Speaking of selfie's, here's another photo opt... Bakersfield has a giant 25 foot fiberglass Indian, muffler man. This Indian has moved around the town and currently resides at the Corral Cafe on Alfred Harrell highway.

When you think of oil, what place do you think of in the United States? Well chances are you're not thinking of Bakersfield but Kern county and Alaska compete for the number one daily producers of oil. More than North Dakota and Texas. We know Texans feel that everything's big there but geez Bakersfield has that big Indian and bigger oil, oh well!

Bugs Bunny's favorite town is Bakersfield. Why, you ask? Because the two largest producers of carrots grow over 90% of all carrots there in California. Just hop on over to Bakersfield but there's no guarantee that it will improve your eyesight. Regardless, carrots are a favorite when driving snack of the traveling notary.

Between jobs the mobile notary likes to occasionally take a break at Hart Park where there are lots of peacocks. Hey, it's another great selfie opportunity! The park is actually huge over 370 acres and has two lakes. It's a fun place to just relax and visit the wildlife.
