The notary accessories that you might need to perform notarizations include the notary acknowledgement, the notorial seal, the notary journal, a stapler, notary Jurat's, and the ink pad for thumb prints. Keep your notary supplies together under lock and key. Purchase the notary accessories only from authorized dealers. Have extra notary accessories in a separate location. Many notaries keep there accessories in a briefcase. If that is the case for you, then you might want to also have a set of supplies at your home. If your seal or stamp gets lost of stolen, you are out of work as a notary public until you can replace the accessories. Just be organized and plan ahead.
