California Notary Publics' notarization fees are regulated by the Secretary of State. The following are our charges for the services we provide.

  • $10 each notarized signature
  • Travel fees are $39 and up
  • Waiting time is $1 per minute with a 10 minute grace period.

Jurisdiction


Notary Publics' are regulated by the Secretary of State for each individual state. Therefore, a notary may only do notaries physically in the state in which they are licensed.

Find a Notary Who Performed a Notarization


To find a notary that did a past notarization, look at the SEAL (stamp) on the document. Contact the county recorder in the state of the county that is on the seal.

Copy of Journal Entry


Upon written request of any member of the public, which request shall include the name of the parties, the type of document, and the month and year in which notarized, the notary shall supply a photostatic copy of the line item representing the requested transaction at a cost of not more than thirty cents ($0.30) per page. You may pick up the copy at the notaries business address. Or the notary will charge for delivery of the photocopied item.

The notaries do not maintain copies of documents that they notarize.
